Southern landscape photography

There is something very special about the southern landscape. SO serene looking at the marsh and rivers that flow throughout the region. In small towns, there are only a couple resturants and the food was down home GREAT. Laura's house backs up against a wildlife refuge near Harris Neck. Much of the forest was cut down to get rid of a beetle that has infested the region. Last May, when I visited, there was a line of pine forest at the edge of their property. This time all the trees were gone and we had a more expansive view. I created these images and tinted them a bit when I returned. The panos were made from 3-5 photos that I stitched.
